Meet Our Golf Instructors

James Hemphill
With his emphasis on the mental approach to golf, James has established a solid reputation as an instructor. His theory is quite simple, "one tempo - one swing."
In addition to individual sessions, he offers clinics, group, couples and playing lessons, and is very involved in junior golf, including our popular summer Junior Golf Camps.

Helena Shin
A member of the United States Golf Teachers Federation, Helena's approach to golf instruction starts with the "A. B. C's." of golf - Alignment, Balance and Concentration. She is available for both individual and group lessons, as well as playing ones. Helena also offers a $10 Saturday drop-in Junior Clinic which runs Spring - Fall.

"The Fair Ladies"

The Fair Ladies at The Fairgrounds Golf Course is a program for lady golfers of all skill levels! Every Wednesday - except during winter, "The Fair Ladies" meet for a fun evening combining golf, a golf clinic and socializing, enjoying fine wine and hors d'oeuvres. The Fair Ladies start on March 24, 5:30pm
